About Tim Lewis

The artist Tim Lewis was born in Cardiff in 1960 and - along with his wife Eva - is currently based in Wales after spending several years in Switzerland.

Tim's love of art, his passion for football and his academic involvement with the Sociology of Sport, have combined to produce some wonderfully insightful football cartoons.

Much of the inspiration for Tim's work undoubtedly comes from his international experience of lecturing and researching the global game. It is however being a football fan with its seemingly unavoidable subscription to torment that most impacts on his art.
